Join us for a special day of Icelandic Lopi knitting!
Learn Icelandic Lopi knitting with Dr. Jennifer Daley, textile historian and knitwear designer.
All knitters and skill levels are welcome in this workshop. Learn to knit Icelandic style Lopi stranded colorwork, or improve your existing Lopi technique.

The full-day workshop is $115, which includes all knitting instruction, one Knitting Jenny pattern of your choice, and three balls of Léttlopi 100% new Icelandic wool yarn.
The workshop includes:
- One Knitting Jenny pattern of your choice. A brand-new Lopi Collection of knitting patterns will be released on October 15, 2025.
- Three balls of Léttlopi 100% new Icelandic wool yarn
- All Lopi knitting instruction delivered in person by Jennifer Daley
- Lopi knitting tips, tricks, and techniques
- An overview of the special qualities of Icelandic sheep and wool
- A presentation of Icelandic textile history, including traditional Lopi ski sweaters with the distinctive yoke
- A guided exploration of traditional Lopi patterns and motifs
- A discussion of Icelandic Lopi knitwear design, including color dominance and color theory
- A Lopi knitted hat-blocking explanation
- A steeking discussion on how and why to safely cut your knitting
