Knitting Jenny Pattern 1, 2, and 3
Three variations of mittens with a historic Scottish plaid and different thumb techniques. Knit with 100% pure Shetland wool from Jamieson and Smith, on 2.5mm knitting needles.
Designing different types of thumbs adds to the joy and complexity of knitted mittens. The red thumb is plain knit in a solid red while Pattern 3 boasts a gored thumb that maintains its plaid patterning seamlessly from the hand to thumbtip.
