Another Spectacular Estes Park Wool Market

    Jennifer Daley

Estes Park Wool Market in Estes Park, Colorado concluded on June 8, 2025 and what a wonderful time it was!

The first Estes Park Wool Market I attended was in 1997, so I have a long history of this spectacular fiber festival. If you have not yet attended, I urge you to go!

This is a picture of a sheared alpaca next to a yet-to-be sheared alpaca, brought to you by Big Hat Ranch of McCoy, Colorado.

There were so many beautiful animals at Estes Park Wool Market, and of course, so many incredibly creative fiber artists and knitters and vendors who displayed truly innovative products.

    So much colorful yarn!

The wool choices were overwhelming in a great way.

But, as always, the best part of Estes Park Wool Market was the PEOPLE.

I thoroughly enjoyed talking with fellow fiber-loving people.

I taught two Fair Isle knitting classes, and what a joy it was to share with my students all that I know.

I also demonstrated Fair Isle knitting on Saturday and Sunday in the big barn with the alpacas, the yaks, and the Petting Zoo.

What an interesting animal backdrop to my knitting demos!

I am an open book, and transparent, and I really appreciate the opportunity to share with others my joy of knitting, and all the knitting tips and techniques that I have learned over the years.

Big thanks to all my students, and to everyone at Estes Park Wool Market.

    You really made my day!

My family lives in Estes Park, so it is always so nice for me to come home to the Wool Market every year.

I will return to Estes Park again next year for Estes Park Wool Market, June 11-14, 2026.

    See you then!
