Pumpkin bling, hand-dyed by me
Completed in 2011, the year I knit a "sock wardrobe" for my sister

I purchased this undyed sock yarn from DT Crafts and Design, at the fabled Woolfest up in the Scottish Lake District. Woolfest is such big fun!

The socks were knit in the yarn's natural white state. Then, I dropped the completed socks into a dye bath with my favorite Jacquard brand acid dyes.

This yarn has some bling to it. It literally sparkles. My sister says that the sparkle is a little itchy, which I'm not pleased to hear. I won't be knitting socks with bling again.

The fiber content is 75% superwash merino, 20% nylon, and 5% gold stellina.
