Big Fun with self-patterning yarn

This is a colorway that I've been wanting to knit for a long, long time.

I started these toe-up socks because I wanted/needed something "easy" to knit while watching a certain dancefest at the Cecil Sharp House in Camden Town, London.

Now I get a lot of flack for my love of dancing, especially the hokey-dokey variety. But come on, what's there not to like about dancers in full Regency attire, dancing in the olde style? It's great. It's amazing. I want to do it. You know how I love costume.

And oh hey, did you notice the gloves that the man is wearing? How can you not fall for a man who wears gloves? Ok, am I the only one with a thing about gloves?

Here are the finished socks. Perfectly matching, which is an accomplishment for me.
