Knit on Addi Turbo brand metal circulars (only because I cannot source my favorite Hotz & Stein ebony woods in the sizes required)

Here’s the basic pattern:

With a 12 inch metal circular, 2.0mm, cast on 112 sts and k2, p2 for one good inch of ribbing.

Switch to 16-inch metal circular, 3.0mm, and rapidly increase to 155 total sts.

K in solid pink for half an inch.

Now work your favorite fair isle motif for two inches.

Reduce now in your favorite way, such as the six-pointed star motif that I’ve used, with double decreases at the star points, decreasing every other row.
