More socks for my lucky sister
Completed in October 2012

I was walking along the River Thames one day recently at dusk, from my favorite National Maritime Museum in Greenwich to my moviehouse nearby. And I happened upon this knitting graffiti. How colorful and odd! It was in the middle of nowhere. Just a tree limb enclosed with knitting. In my bag were these colorful socks, which I'd been working on.

These socks represent the 70th pair in the madness that is my sister's sock wardrobe.

This pair was knit with Opal brand sock yarn that I purchased during my trip to Copenhagen. The colorway is #4001 "Herzogin Eugenie."

I was so relieved to get the stripes to match perfectly. Now I can sleep at night.
