Waitress

This is not the good movie to watch while on a diet. As I am.

This movie is about a white-trash, southern girl who has a talent for baking pies. Much of the fun of the movie involves the pie-baking.

I love baking pies. Especially pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.

During the movie I was constantly distracted by the horrid southern twang, an accent that hurts my ears. It gives me flashbacks to going to school in Texas. Not a happy period in my life.

Not only is this movie about white-trashism, it's about infidelity and lack of sticktoitiveness. I do not like movies about "finding happiness" by breaking marital vows. Is nothing sacred anymore?

And I was especially appalled at the doctor's behavior. Has he no shame or awareness of the Hippocratic Oath?
