I believe that a premonition is when you have a feeling that something is going to happen (usually something bad) and then it does actually happen. That’s a premonition, like the kid in Final Destination boarding the airplane then getting this feeling that it’s going to crash; he quickly gets off the airplane, and then the plane, of course, crashes. Now that’s a premonition. What Sandra Bullock has in the movie Premonition is more along the lines of déjà vu, eh? And funky, confusing déjà vu, at that. It was a little hard to follow the plot at times. And, all the way through, I kept thinking: poor Sandra Bullock: she is a real likable person and actress, and unfortunately she keeps choosing the worst scripts.
