The Lives of Others
This movie was fine, in that German foreign film sort of way. But it seemed like it was three hours long. And they could have pushed the envelope a bit on the 1980s fashions.
Do you recognize Sebastian Koch, who plays the playwright in this movie? He also played the cute Nazi, Müntze, in Black Book. I like him. But he does look a bit worn and haggard, or, as they say in Texas, "rode hard and put up wet."
Do you recognize his actress girlfriend in the movie? She was in The Good Shepherd.
