03 March 2007 Hot Fuzz
My three brothers would love this movie. For Americans, this is the great English movie, with the great English sense of humor (that Americans love so much). I love Simon Pegg. Whats there not to like? He was great in Shaun of the Dead, and he is great in Hot Fuzz. As an American, I did notice something different, when the British cop read the "Miranda rights" (although I don't think that's what they're called here). In the States, when you're arrested (as you do), the cop says something along the lines of, "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you. You have the right to have an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you...." It's interesting to think that those rights vary. Anyway, I highly recommend this funny movie.
