What do I love more than leaves knit in green?

This was a fun knit. The Shetland wool is so easy to knit with and to block. Too bad I'll never wear it. This shawl is neatly tucked away, properly folded with layers of acid-free tissue paper. As you do.

100% Shetland 2-ply laceweight yarn purchased at the Jamieson and Smith booth at the wonderful Woolfest up in the Lake District, on the way to Scotland

Knit with 2.50mm Holz & Stein brand ebony wood circulars

I used six skeins of wool.

The pattern is called "leaf lace shawl" and it's by Evelyn Clark.
