Green leaf lace socks
What do I love more than a leaf motif knit in green?
The pattern is, of course, the Embossed Leaves Socks, by Mona Schmidt, published in the Winter 2005 issue of Interweave Knits magazine.
Knit with wonderful, hand-dyed Smooshy sock yarn, from Dream in Color, in the Spring Tickle colorway.
I was the obedient knitter and followed the pattern verbatim.
I already knew that I liked the pattern, though, because last year, in preparation, I had knit a practice sock.
I love these socks!
