Here is the blue tam finished and unblocked.

It is so much fun to block a tam flat. The pattern really comes alive.

Learn from my mistakes. Refrain from blocking the tam over a dinner plate, as advised on knitting sites and in books. I found that pulling the ribbing over the dinner plate really distorted the ribbing. So, now I just wash and block per normal, with pins.

Ribbing was knit with 16 inch, 2.0mm Addi turbo circulars, and the body was knit with 16 inch, 3.0mm Hotz & Stein ebony wood circulars

My own design, knit in the round, from the ribbing to the center.
